Annual reports 2007/08
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority delivered some great achievements in the last financial year and you can now read about them in our Annual Report for 2007-08.
Some of the Authority's performance highlights included:
- progressing plans for Sydney's largest urban renewal project at Barangaroo
- exceeding more than 80 per cent of its performance targets for services to customers, visitors, tenants and stakeholders
- investing more than $46.5 million to revitalise its precincts, including The Rocks and Darling Harbour
- delivering $52.4 million in property income - up 5.1 per cent on the previous year - which contributed to a strong financial result
- progressing the $560 million project to redevelop Darling Walk at Darling Harbour
- committing to reducing carbon emissions at The Rocks and Darling Harbour by 80 per cent by 2020
- creating a new 2.6 hectare park at Ballast Point.
Innovative leadership and expertise allowed the Authority to deliver these outstanding results and will ensure the organisation continues to break new ground in the year ahead.
