Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority’s role as custodian of The Rocks encompasses:

• Urban design, retail mix and customer relationship with all retail, commercial and residential tenants 
• Preservation of its heritage buildings
• Creation and development of its events
• Marketing
• Management of its operation and capital costs and revenues
