English as a Second Language programs

foundation parkEnglish as a Second Language (ESL) students, arriving from a diverse range of countries, often find Sydney a considerable contrast to where they are from.

The Finding Your Feet in Sydney tour is designed to introduce students to some of the fundamentals of Sydney, including its history, famous places, some hidden treasures and an introduction to the myriad dining and entertainment experiences students can enjoy during their stay.

The tour provides students with a deeper understanding of Sydney. By learning about Australian culture through food and entertainment, students gain great insights into contemporary Australia that help make them feel less like a visitor and more like a local.

A practical element is also included in the tour to equip students with the know-how to explore Sydney, and give them the confidence to participate in the many events and experiences the city has to offer.
