For Visitors
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority is responsible for Sydney’s most historically and culturally significant waterfront locations. More than 30 million people visit our two major precincts every year.
Whether it is boutique shopping, fine dining or a fun family day out, you will have a great time with us. Throughout the year Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority runs a number of events in Darling Harbour and The Rocks. Regular events include The Rocks Market, on each weekend from 10am to 5pm and The Rocks Pub Tour, a great, fun way to find out some local history of early Sydney European settlement.
The Rocks Discovery Museum tells the story of The Rocks from pre-European days to the present. Home to a unique collection of images and archaeological artefacts found in The Rocks, the exhibits are highly interactive; using touch screens, audio and visual elements to bring the history of the area alive.
For information on what to see, where to stay and things to do in and around Sydney's Darling Harbour and The Rocks, visit our online Sydney Visitor Centre.
You can also visit our dedicated websites for The Rocks and Darling Harbour.
Our Educational Tours & Services team are responsible for all school education programmes offered by Sydney Learning Adventures, The Rocks Pub Tour and VIP site tours and presentations.
