Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority has developed a draft land use plan to set out a vision for the future uses of Callan Park.

The draft plan proposes improved open space, additional playing fields, the expansion of the University of Sydney’s presence on the site and a continuing health presence through the creation of a non-government organisation (NGO) precinct, nurses’ precinct and the retention of the NSW Ambulance Service headquarters.

The exhibition period and submissions for the land use plan closed on 22 February 2008.
