Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority wishes to announce that there will be no Art on The Rocks in 2008.
The decision follows a comprehensive review in early 2007 of all of the events in The Rocks. This review confirmed that, after four years, Art on The Rocks was declining in popularity and attracting a diminishing number of visitors.
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the event's cancellation. In place of Art on The Rocks, a number of new and exciting future events are being explored, including an arts event for 2008/09.

Australia Day 26 January
The Rocks is the only place to be in Sydney on Australia Day. With an incredible line-up of blues, roots and rock talent across five stages, and buskers throughout The Rocks' streets and laneways, Sydney's oldest suburb will once again show Australia how to party. Get out the Aussie flags and tattos and settle in at one of the stages; follow the buskers trail or refresh at one of the many heritage pubs.
